comme des garçons: the museum

rei kawakubo just opened up a comme des garçons trade museum, where people are allowed to only look - not shop - at its dover street market location. featuring the typically creepy/avant-garde comme des garçons aesthetic, the museum is a glorious mecca of fashion and kawakubo's curatorial insight.

alexander wang spring 2010 lookbook: i like these looks. sportswear isn't totally my style, but i think he's a genius when it comes to texture, layering, and the conceptual styling of an outfit. i especially love the bubble shoulders on that grey sweatshir - i would wear that piece constantly. i also like the side-by-side beaty/editorial shots.

good lookbooks are such a treat.
